For those of you in Edinburgh, FOUND are performing at a special event at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh this Saturday 21 June. It’s part of a large multicultural, multi-art-form project called Dialogues of Wind and Bamboo (visit imapimap.com/windandbamboo for full information).

The project features two art installations, Three Pieces, by Ziggy Campbell and Simon Kirby, and Natural Progression by long-time FOUND collaborator Susie Brown. Both installations are on display until Sunday 29 June.

Ziggy Campbell and his new partner in audio-installation-crime, Doctor Simon Kirby. Together they are FOUND ELECTRONICS a formidable duo with more hi-tech gadgets that Batman. They have created a wonderful musical installation which involves chimes and a Chinese dulcimer being played by robots and plants. Sounds bizarre, I know, you really have to see it to make sense of it. If you can’t get along to the Botanics in Edinburgh, here’s a nice video they’ve made.
